Ken Jacobson is a Sector Specialist in the Materials practice at Daybreak Capital Partners. Mr. Jacobson is also a Partner with Principia, a marketing consulting firm specializing in materials and related manufactured goods, including chemicals, plastics, metals and minerals, construction materials and building products.
Mr. Jacobson is a senior materials strategist with over 30 years of professional experience in this field. He combines a successful line management career with relevant consulting background, including a strong track record in executing growth strategies, conducting successful business development and acquisitions programs, and improving operational efficiency.
Mr. Jacobson leads project teams for Principia’s international clientele which span the fields of building products, chemicals and plastics. Mr. Jacobson’s engagements have resulted in cash flow improvements, margin gains, customer satisfaction increases and business growth.
Prior to Daybreak Capital and Principia, Mr Jacobson’s experience includes management positions at PolyOne, Techmer PM, Degussa and Ciba. Mr. Jacobson’s consulting background includes positions at Charles River Associates and Kline & Company. Mr. Jacobson holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Drexel University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
