Mr. Williams is a Sector Specialist in the Consumer, Retail and Business Services practice at Daybreak Capital Partners. Prior to Daybreak Mr. Williams was Director of Capital Development for Sixup, a venture-backed, Silicon Valley fin-tech startup. During his tenure, the company raised more than $20 million in debt and $5 million in equity financings.
Previously, Mr. Williams was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Waterfall Capital Partners where he secured $1 billion in committed funds to purchase and securitize licensed-intellectual-property-royalty streams.
Mr. Williams served as Co-Founder and President of JW Sieg Wines, a wine distribution company with a marketing area that covered the Mid-Atlantic US. Under his leadership, the company’s annual revenues exceeded $6 million in its fifth year of operations.
Mr. Williams was an Equity Research Analyst with CIBC World Markets, covering the Specialty Apparel Retail Sector. Following this Mr. Williams moved into industry and built his own critically-acclaimed fashion label and launched a London-based, private-label fashion brand for Saks Fifth Avenue.
Mr. Williams holds a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his CPA license while working for KPMG in New York after graduating university.
